LifePoints
Goal:
Like any achievements system, the LifePoints system has no true “goal;” there is not a set amount of points that makes you win, there are no victory conditions. While some may use it to compete with others, for most the LifePoints system serves its own purpose, and that is enjoyment. Like the first Xbox achievements, LifePoints have no additional benefit aside from having an additional positive effect when accomplishing something, as well as encouraging people to do things in unique or unexpected ways.
